Hi Helen,
Hope you are watching that cough? Seriously, hope it is a lot better love.
Glad to hear Caz is enjoying herself, as you say music is her life, hope she is also feeling better too, bless her.
Well it is football again tonight lo! oooooooooooo not long to go now then I can choose what I want to watch, having said that there is not much on hahaha.
Love and many ((((((((((hugs))))))))))) to you, hub and your dear son and some extra special ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) for lovely Caz.
Love Maryxxxx
Today's video showed the stage on the edge of a lake, mountains beyond......entitled 'a hard day in the office', lol! as she said, someone has to do it!
Am about thinking of talking to my GP, Mary, cough is still troublesome, grrrrr! what a pain! but don't feel too ill with it......did lots of sewing today to get Sir's and my outfits near for Bletchley Park......complex but fun......had to learn how to tie a headscarf the 'wrong way round', ie knot at the front so the ends can be tucked up round it.....a la 2nd WW fashion.....interesting!
love and hugs to you all

Evening girls
Are you dressing up Helen - what fun!!! 'Turban'style' headscarf? I can remember my Mum and Gran wearing those during the day with hair curlers underneath............. Curlers? Springy metal things (before plastic rollers) to wrap hair round and hold tight....very uncomfortable............a la Hilda Ogden!!! There was always one curler that poked out the front!!!! Is hubs wearing headscarf too???
Love and (((hugs))) Dot xxxxxxxxx
Glad to hear that Helen
Seriously love it is best you get this checked out, you may need an antibiotic dear friend, there are some awful viruses going around at the moment that are causing some nasty chest infections, although if this was the case you would feel poorly love, but as I have said get it checked, god I sound like a right old nagg. Just imagine what I am like with my lovely daughter I must drive her mad lo!
Love and many hugs
Mrs Nagg lo!
Mary doing what she does best......nag.....nag......nag..........but we love you for it...............xxxx
Our Bletchley Park outfits are coming on well........Sir is going in a brown coat with red bias binding on it round the collar, and genuine Post Office buttons, I had to make a small hole and blanket stitch it for each of the buttons and their clips. Apparently Post Office workers dressed like that. Someone recently came in with the buttons and some badges too, to donate, and Sir was there at the right time!
Me? well, I'm trying to be as accurate Women's Land Army as I can, (using modern fabrics and clothing though, unfortunately, but it is hard to get old genuine stuff in wearable condition now) with brown dungarees (white ones, dyed and the modern clips and buttons changed for older-always knew the button box would be useful!), a cream shirt, green striped tie and green V neck jumper (thanks to John Lewis' school department!), with brown lace up shoes. We have fabric painted a crown and the WLA letters onto some green fabric which I will sew into arm bands, one to permanently cover the logo on the new shirt, the other to put over the jumper for cooler weather....... the headscarf too, as the right type of Land Army hats are very hard to find.......but will keep looking!
Well, now you all know how to look out for us if you ever come to BP on a day we're on duty!
Caz keeps popping photos onto Twitter and f/b, one showing two of them all dressed ready to go on stage, the stage tonight is literally a floating one on a mountain lake! Looks lovely, and she looks happy as she usually is on tour!
love and hugs to all

Last post said 'quick stop in Slovenia on our way to Moscow!' Bless the lass, last time she was in Russia it was very cold, so much so she bought a new coat! This time I guess it might well be the opposite!
humid here today........love and hugs to all

Hi Helen,
Your BP outfits sound great..we need photos please!
I'm so glad Caz is enjoying the tour..the mountain lake stage sounded wonderful.
I hope you're not wilting too much in the humidity today & there are no hunger pangs niggling at you.
Love & hugs..
xx
It's quite funny, Caz seemed to expect Russia to still be cold, as it was last time she was there! She is surprised it is so hot, says the food is a little odd but the beer is ok! They have a sort of a day off, in that they arrived today and the gig is tomorrow......but I expect sleep will be high on the agenda.....it is never too easy to sleep on the tour bus!
love and hugs to you all
