hahaha, I wish, lol! But the weather has been lovely today so far.....so......up and on!
First the lawn needed cutting, then we decided to trim a trellis-worth of Ceanothus since it has finished flowering, have just finished clearing up all the scrap......it does look tidy though!
Bless our two, son arrived last night saying I had to put my computer on so that I could switch on Skype. He dialled up Caz and we had ages chatting as a family, they had made a wonderful album of photos and got it all printed out in a book, as a Dad's day present, but really to us both. It is one very special thing that can be done on AppleMac computers, in iPhoto there is a setting to be able to choose to make a book/calendar/ring binder or whatever and put in all you want! So he had obviously found the photos (when we were away last year they both rifled through all our collection!) and they had chosen and arranged them all together when son went up to stay a while back, then Caz had sent off for it. It is a very special thing to have, wonderful funny and moving memories!
We are both so proud (and thrilled) of our two!
love and hugs to you all

Taking Sir to a dental appointment at the hospital today, bless him he is terrified!
Caz is coming to the end of all the arranging ready for the tour, she then has an appointment with the Prof at the Christie next Monday, when they will no doubt finalise the dates for Gemcitabine, but she hasn't had time to decide if she wants me to go up or not......! kids, eh?!
Moomy
Hi Helen,
Hope dental appointment went well, bless him there are many of us dear mortals terrified of the dentist, he is not the only one.
Biggest of hugs for dear Caz, hope all goes well and she attends her appointment, or did you mean tour Helen? apologies brain is frazzled today lo!
Everything is crossed Helen.
Many warm ((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) for you too.
Love Maryxxxx
Ah, Mary, I'm sorry, it wasn't clear, I meant she hasn't decided if she wants me to go up for the appointment or not.....it will only be a few days before, firstly, Rolf's 'do' and secondly, her tour. She will need to be down here, think she flies out from Heathrow again, so will need taking to the airport, knowing her it will be on a Monday morning in the rush hour!
love and hugs to you all

Hi Helen,
Sorry love it was me not reading your post as it should have been read, apologies, very tired tonight.
Your lovely girl is thinking of you and hubbs and all that you have to do not only for her but for you too, bless her.
She is such a busy girl, I hold my hat off to her, such a special girl, give her a massive (((((((hugs)))))))) from me when you see her.
Will send her a good luck message nearer the time.
She is always in our prayers, I have told my family all about your wonderful girl, we have watched her on Chris Moyles and also listened to her wonderful CD.
Biggest and warmest of (((((((hugs))))))) to you, hubbs and son too.
Love Maryxxxxxxx
Bless you, Mary.....hubs is doing ok, it was a minor op really, he'd had an abcess that just wouldn't clear even after the tooth was outed, been going on 6 months! Hope this will now sort it! Caz is doing ok too, I suspect the work keeps her going, it is all things she just loves doing. Son is fine, met their new dog last night when we went for a few hours.......Holly-dog is getting on well with Hector-dog....he too was a rescue and was a stray, but already knows his name and is being gently but lovingly trained. think he is a bit less headstrong than Holly, but does leap up more than her and steals any food he can get hold of as yet....he still needs feeding up a bit though..... We will be having them both for a long weekend at the end of August....hmmm, that'll be hard work.....
Sweet Kate! Come back to give me some ideas of coping!!!!!
love and hugs to you all
Moomy
Ah, many congratulations! Will go and look at the pics......hope you now have lots of happiness together!
