Helen is right Julia don't sulk love, I don't get emails either but only because in your settings you can tick the likkle box to stop automative emails, you want to try it Helen, it stopped all those posts from the scammers, well apart from one and I don't have a clue how that happened, call me thick, I really don't mind hahaha.
I leave it as at least I get told when I get p/ms, as I often have the site up and running on a tab on my 'puter, with other sites I use too, its easy then to switch between them on the header bar at the top! So unless I look, this is usually on the threads page! But it has gone onto 'go slow' already this morning, anyone else noticed?
Well, that's it, jobs done, dinner cooked and eaten too......the nesting blackbird has been quiet today, saw her about early on but not recently......we make sure there is food ready on the birdtable each day and that the bath is fresh each day too. I bet the eggs will hatch and babies be flown by the time we are back from holiday, what a pity we won't see all the activity!
Mary, I just worry about her, she has trusted us enough to let us go round the garden, even to cut the lawn, I worry about a pesky cat who comes into our garden in spite of all the cat deterrents, dust and other smelly stuff.....we are daft enough to have worried that we couldn't invite Mrs Blackbird and nest and eggs indoors when it rained so heavily the other night! silly folk we are! hope it all goes ok for them....
Just come back from the steering group meeting for the local Macmillan Health and well being fayre (how I hate these 'olde-worlde' spellings, but I guess at times we get stuck with them) it promises to help the groups of local patients around here with a full day of talks, exhibiting groups, complimentary therapy and so on, all funded by Macmillan for a year, there will be 4 days. I'm the 'rep' for the Lymphoma support group that I go to once a month.
Pleased too, that I was asked if Caz's CD could be played throughout the day and 'would I sell CDs' and 'have you any advertising stuff'......of course I have, and of course I will!!!!!!!
Hmmm, had communication from Admin....(thank you, Emelia) that Admin are about to review the site and especially, the 'report post' facility, hope they can alter to improve it!
Lunchtime rehearsal followed by Lymphoma Association Support meeting.....just had some lunch!!!!!!
The meeting was interesting, learnt a bit more about HL, and later treatments for refractory disease....Caz needs to have something that 'halts' the disease, then she can go on for a transplant, and that still gives her a 50% chance of cure......well, the odds are less all the time but at least there IS a chance.....IF she responds to one out of the 3 drugs they still can use.....so, it's fingers , toes, eyes, legs, and everything else crossed for August, folks!
