Dear Helen,
Still waiting for mine, although you know me always meeting myself coming back so only ordered it Thursday gone, email confirmation says it was despatched yesterday from County Durham, so not too far away from here, if not today then it should arrive on Monday.
Will certainly listen to all of it, and hope it helps me as much as it has helped Dot, bless her. Track 8 will be played first. Sounds fantastic, I know you must be the proudest parents of both your children.
My love and many hugs

Awww, Mary, bless you!
She also said she has bought a new outfit for next Thursday's launch, no photos allowed pre-the event! haha! She'll be playing, too, there will be some jazz going on, not sure if she'll play allthe time, or leave other musicians to play while she circulates some of the time. I know that part of the evening will be Press folk, and part Macmillan. She already has interviews booked with a radio show and some magazines.
My outfit is also chosen!

Helen just as I pressed post the postie arrived with dear Caz's 'Smile'. J and I have bothed listened to it and gotta admit there were some tears, such a wonderful, corageous, beautiful girl and such an inspiration to so many. I take my hat off to her Helen.
'Smile' what can I say, so beautiful, your dear daughter and son are so very talented, 'Sing till lotta' just wonderful, piano was marvellous, contratulations to them both.
Lastly what a marvellous achievement for them both and and such a worthwhile cause,Please tell them thank you from us all, it will help so many who need Macmillan's care. Please give them a great big (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hug))))))))))))))))))))))))))) from me and J.
My love to you all

Ah, Mary, so glad you like it!
I think the title tune brings tears to us as well as 'Sang till lotta', it is just such a 'dark' arrangement, Rod said he arranged it to tell Caz's story through all this, 'Tico tico' is such fun, it was Rod's idea to use the starting pistol so it looks like it stirred Caz into playing! She said that was one of the hardest to actually play, it involves such fast movement which can be tricky on a 'bone. 'But beautiful' was the one she chose to dedicate to her friend Andy Greig, it got played at his funeral actually at the Crem with just the family, after the big service in the church. Very proud of her arrangement of one of the tracks, too.
We are sooooo proud of both of them and thankful Caz played with the summer orchestra years ago when she first met Rod who conducted it, they became friends there and then, they both thought of the idea of the CD together, it was a pity it had to wait so long so they could afford to make it, it was thanks to a fund raising dinner in Kent that it was able to go ahead.
My love and hugs to all on here

Helen whatever Caz wears to the launch night she will look a million dollars, so will her mum. Hope she does not play all evening it will be so good for her to play just a little then circulate and enjoy her time in the spotlight, she deserves this so much as do her family.
My love and ((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) to you all.
Dot I am sitting listening too as I type this, as you say so very beautiful and track eight is haunting Helen, wonderful!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
