Bern, yes, we walk for just the enjoyment, hubs has only just begun to do more after his back op in late February, before he got really bad we used to hill walk and miss it. Rent-a-dog? have never heard of that one.....we will have son's Westie for a week when he is away, she is really sweet but a rescue and so we only hope she won't be too upset when he goes.....we have had her for a couple of days, and she was good but did whine a bit at night (I guess she felt a bit abandoned! )I really loved walking with her!

Hi Shell how are you? Silly question i know. Bern did you get your writing on your shirt sorted? Helen lots of dog walking then. I sometimes have Helens (barbie) dog when she is not home and she cries a lot at first but soon settles and loves her walks. Sam x
Yes, they all seem to love the new smells! Holly just went stop /slow all the time when I first took her, she was better on the second walk! She was ok though whined a bit, till son collected her to go back home....he took all her stuff to the car first, she saw him go and just went bananas! It was only a couple of minutes but her distress was huge! I hope she doesn't remember that few moments when she comes to stay again....
