I have some wicked news. My friend who has been having IVF and told she miscarried has done enough pregnancy tests to make the chemist retire, is pregnant. It is still touch and go, but she is definitely positive and the clinic confirmed today!! Hoorah!! So fingers crossed and it brought a smile to my face. Hugs all round. Love bern xx
Bern, how wonderful! I do hope all remains well, you must be thrilled, not to mention how she must feel, her fella too! love....

Ha ha, this will make you laugh. Fingers crossed everything goes well and they have the baby. Hubby will get baptized. I laughed and told my mate to tell him it is a full immersion. She is going to tell him we will get a paddling pool and it will happen at 10.30am Mass!!
Some more great news. I have hit the £1K mark, with my sponsorship for the race for life. Yipppeeeee. Expecting some more to come in, so hopefully £1,100 AND my job will match it. Hip Hip Hoorah!!! It is in honour of everyone whose lives have been affected by the illness and is a massive TWO Fingers up to it. Cause our love and spirits are stronger. I salute you and give you hugs too. Yep, Sam got the run this Sunday. Getting a bit excited about it and nervous too. I think though there will so much positive vibes on the day, that it would be hard not to get carried away. I have just spoken to my mum and she was surprised that people were coming to cheer me on!! She never was any good at sports day, so why am I surprised?!!! Off to do circuits tonight, so probably won't be able to walk tomorrow!! How you doing?
Bern, I do hope you get round without hurting too much, i know how 5k feels in 'race' mode, even though I could do twice that easily in my own time! (walking, i hasten to add!) but I did jog for at least some of the way....thank you, am ok today.....have done 2 miles walking too! I do try to keep my old bones active!

Helen, I hope I get round without hurting too much too!!! This is a real labour of love as I HATE running. It is all worth it and I would do it on my knees if it meant that the monies would help prevent someone else getting this illness, or could help cure it.
Wow, 2 miles today. You put me to shame,I have only walked round the block. One of the problems with a desk job!! Do you often go walking then? Are you a rambler? I do like walking but it is so much moe fun with a dog - we don't have a dog, but try to get rent-a-dog - much cheaper than owning one and you have all the fun!!

hi helen, sam, donna, etc etc, just to let u know i didnt end up going they foned instead as registrar was off sick. as u know i have bone scan tomoz, then friday i have ct scan and appt wiv registrar and SHO, then wednesday of next week they will have the results from all, so yet again i will be sat playing the waiting game for anuva week or so befor i no where i stand wiv all this crap. i will be bak on later once the kids are in bed, just thought i had better nip in and let u no what has happened today. love hugs and many thanks to you all shelliey xoxoxoxox
