    Dearest Helen,

You have been missed by so many of your friends on this forum, so pleased to see you back.
Glad you enjoyed your holiday, but make sure you take things easy for the next couple of days, oooooooooooooooooooooo there i go again miss bossy boots hehehe.

As for your beautiful daughter Caz, I am so pleased that the hot spots were an infection and not active cancer in her liver and nodes, that must have put your mind at rest, although I know you will still worry about the cells in her spleen, but as you have said there are alot of options for her and she has time to make the decision on the treatment she prefers, also that she is so well, that counts for alot dear lady and I am sure with her positive and wonderful attitude she is going to be alright.

Your dear girl is an inspiration to so many, bless her and I will be keeping everything crossed for her and also praying everything is going to go right for her, nobody deserves it more than her and also you as her family.

    Biggest of hugs and love.

    Dear Helen,
Its so good to have you back, we have really missed you, glad you enjoyed your
holiday, will probably sleep well tonight, you cant beat your own bed.
I am really pleased that some of what they thought were hot spots turned out to
be an infection and that Caz is still feeling so well and that she has time to make
decisions about treatments, will still keep fingers crossed for her,
Love and big hugs to you all xxxxxxxxxx
  • Last night I had a long chat with her brother, on his way home.....bless him, he sort of took my place at her side at the appointment, especially since her housemate and close pal, although there with her at all her appointments and being so supportive, has her own troubles with her beloved Granda at the moment, as he is now heavily sedated.

Caz is of course upset at having new spread into her spleen, which means that all the great effect that the Medorex trial had in keeping her stable, has now come to an end, and she is re-staged as having active cancer on the other side of her diaphragm, so being at least stage 3. She has a little time, and plans to start some form of treatment in the next month or so, which trial it will be, we don't yet know. But she is so glad that there are more options than just a donor bone marrow transplant, she was dreading that being her only chance of still living......

my love and big hugs to you all on this site, our holiday had still been stressful with all the worry we still have, none of it ever goes away in spite of a change of scenery!

    Hi Helen,

I am sorry dear lady that your beautiful daughter has to start having treatment again, will be praying that this time round that trial gets her into remission. I fully understand when you say even though you were away on holiday it was still a stressful time for you both, we love our kids so much, we take our worries with us, bless you both.

Sorry to hear that you are on meds again ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh but your doc would not have given you them if they were not needed, you must have very sore ears love, feel for you.

MRS BOSSY AGAIN!!!!! hehehe, take it easy, make sure you don't do two much (apart from all the washing) hehehe, those antibiotics will soon kick in and have you back to normal.

Biggest of hugs to you all.
    Love Maryxxxxx
