    Hi Helen,
No thanks needed, I am sure everyone on here would say the same, we are all here for each other when times are tough, its what this site is all about, or should be.
I am so pleased that you caught up on sleep, you will feel so much better now.
Hope Caz is feeling a little better, cough, bless her will take time to clear, as you know, it will wear her out, but try not to worry she will be ok, easier said then done I know.
Bet they have a wonderful time tonight the three of them, and you will feel relieved that there are others around that love her and will take care of her.

I'll send Caz and you a good luck message on Monday, know this will be a worrying time for you all.

    Love Maryxxxxx

  • Thanks again, yes, I am quite glad that there will be others about, Caz travels so much on her own, that if ever she is unwell, its a worry of course, but she'd say, what on earth are you worrying for?! lol!

Much love and big hugs to you all....

  • Had a chat with Caz last night, we aren't both able to go up tomorrow as Sir will have a funeral to go to, unfortunately, on Monday that he really doesn't want to miss, a good ex-colleague friend....an older man who used to give him a lift to work too. So Caz will be picking me up on her way home, and Sir will drive up on Monday, he'll probably be there not too long after we get back from the Christie. Caz sounds rough (voice is a bit deeper) but its mainly when she speaks that the stimulus makes her cough! bless her, otherwise she is getting over it fairly well.

    Hi Helen,

Glad to hear that your dear girl is feeling better, sounds very much like the same virus you had Helen a few weeks back, coughs take such along time to clear.
Sorry to hear hubby can't be there with you on Monday, and also about his friends passing, but at least he will be there when you arrive back from hospital to be with you both.
I'm praying that the results are excellent for dear Caz.

Try to take things easy today dear lady (there I go again nagging) hehe.

    Love and the biggest hugs.

  • Thanks, dear Mary, all changes minute by minute, Caz is on her way home now, and will pick me up on the way, so Sir will have to look after himself tonight too, but he is fine with a day or two, its when it gets longer that he begins to wonder what to eat and so on! She isn't feeling too good, but as you say, it does indeed sound similar to the bug I got just as the stage show and concerts were on in March, I gather this bug has been doing the rounds again, too. If its the same, it'll take a while and she might just need antibiotics to get her better too. Oh well, at least I'll be able to keep an eye myself! Son is on his way now to rehearsal and concert too, bless him, really looking forward to it, he loves playing second cello in the Mendelssohn octet!

    Love and hugs to all......

    Hi Helen,

Enjoy your time with Caz, I know she will get lots of T.L.C, no matter how old they are when they are poorly its always mum they need.
Will be thinking of you both, don't worry about hubby he will manage, but I do understand what you are saying, John is lost if I am not there, although he says he enjoys the peace hahaha.
    Love and many hugs
