All of us on here get both good and bad news, i wanted to start a thread for all types of news, for everyone to post their news.....
  • Thank you, Dianne, she is at least back home, she decided to go off to London for the recording by train tomorrow, rather than drive down here with a sedative still running round in her veins, lol!

hope everyone sees my fund-raising page! Caz will be doing it with me too!

  • Mary, yes we think she's lovely, but then we are a wee bit biased, lol!

  • Ok, have tried a different way of posting a way to sponsor me!

  • Have sorted Caz out again, today she needed a post code! what are Mums for? hahaha!

she said that the 'Friday Night is Music Night' recording today was a lot of Sinatra numbers, that was obviously what she was needed for, to do the Sinatra swing! She isn't sure when it will be broadcast, though, will need to keep a careful look out for a recording with Roderick Dunk as conductor, I will check in the Radio Times each week....

love and hugs to you all....

  • hmmmm, will she or won't she come this evening, late, or tomorrow, early???? Bet we will see her when we see her! ( kids!!!!)

Crumbs!! Helen that programme takes me back some years.............it was always a favourite when I was young..............Is Caz booked for any performances during the Proms season..........I try to watch as many of those concerts as I can...............although there are some that I find heavy going!!!!

Do we ever cut the apron strings completely? I think it's us Mums who cling on with our worrying rather than our kids not letting go!!! You're both doing brilliantly - I don't know how you cope with the to-ing and fro-ing!!!!!

    Love and hugs

  • Dot, not too sure about the Proms, she has played there before, but don't have any idea about this year yet....yes, FNisMN takes me back too! We had managed to get to watch one recording, could never forget those moments when I was convinced the announcer would be too late to get to the mike!

No, I suspect those apron strings will always be there, not perhaps as tight, but always present!

love and hugs to you and all who read here too....
