Hi. This is my first time on this forum. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on wednesday and although I have been fine for a couple of days I am now feeling scared, sad, bemused. Can anyone share their first few days feelings with me

So sorry to hear your news, and that you find youself here, but would like to welcome you. I agree with Shell it is very scary, there will always be people here to support you when needed.
It would be a good idea to fill in a profile, then you won't be asked the same questions over and over again, also people tend to read a persons profile, and I'm sure you will get more answers to any questions you may have and lots more support.
MommyW, so sorry you have the need to be here, these first days must be the very scariest to face, I hope you have family to support you, but this site has a great many folk who understand so well, and can give you plenty of support for all that you will go through. As Mary said, filling in your profile and opening it will help you having to explain the same stuff over and over again. Do keep posting....

Next Monday is Caz's next clinic appointment, this time with no scan, as there is a node on the right of her neck that the Professor measures. We will see if the stress of editing the magazine has had a definite effect on it. She has been advised that stress could affect it, so we will get proof this time. Last time, 3 months ago, that one was 1mm smaller, and one of the ones in her chest was 2mm smaller. They do seem to vary quite a bit, with infection too.
I'll be thinking of you all on Monday, will send a good luck message on Sunday, although I am sure your dear Caz won't need it. Bless her she's a wonderful girl and does not deserve to be going through this. She'll be fine Helen, try not to worry, although I know how difficult that is.
hiya im hoping someone can help put my mind at rest. as most of you know i had to go last week for a chest xray cuz of probs id had resulting in an inflamed ribcage. i have just fone gps surgery to get the results but they will not give me the results, i have got to wait for my gp to ring me in the morning which has now left me fearing the worst, being honest im totally petrified, scared of what the gp is going to tell me, cuz if everything is alright they always give you the results over the phone.
