hi folks, had to take ryan to A&E boxing day night as we thought he had broke his ankle (thankfully not). whilst there i enquired about the swelling in my hand as it is roughly treble the size of my right one, i was told that this is happening as there is no where for fluid to go as usually the lymph glands act as the drainage system, so therefore this is probably something i will have for the rest of my life, apart from this up until today i had had a really good few days but then we think bro in law is trying to cause probs and get neils dad to say me and tammy have to return to my house, if this happens i shall totally distance myself from him and his girlfriend who was a close friend of mine and who i have given alot of help and support to over the last few months.
the reason we think this is happening is bro in law has moaned at me about everything since ive been here on xmas eve, using house fone, using internet, cooking turkey overnight, asking how long were stayng, altho were not taking up any extra room as tam is on top bunk in boys room and im in neils room. he then walked in tonight asked neil who was here, tam walked through to lounge, he then turned round and said he was going to see his dad, so now we just sat here stressing and waiting for that fone call. sorry this has turned into a bit of a rant but i feel hurt, angry, upset etc etc.

Shell, I had a friend who had similar problems, she was at length fitted with a pressure garment which helped her a lot, it was like a long sleeve but the pressure exerted was right for her arm all the way up. Maybe you should ask your GP and your team if something like that would help you? Might be worthwhile, things might have improved since then, but if there isn't another solution, it might just help.
