Welcome to Warped.
I wanted to come back in time and explain something as it doesn't make sense otherwise...(though not much of this thread makes sense anyway) I set up this thread as explained below with a lovely dear lady called Sunny Leith. We had a lot of chat on here and the silliness got me and her and lots of others through some hard times. Sunny left the site when there was some criticism of warped and she deleted all her posts when she left. That is why it doesn't make sense to start with as all her posts are missing and it is a bit of a one sided conversation.... Enjoy it all the same...
Hi there,
This is a follow on from the 'dumb things people say' recent thread that is moving here with a health warning!
If you are feeling sensitive please don't read this thread as you may feel offended.... and we need a place to say what we need to say without worrying about offending people so you have been warned!!!!
This is for those of us who cope by being irreverent and silly and able to laugh at all the bad stuff. If you want to get the idea, read the last few pages of dumb things people say, I might see if I can cut and paste a few over to get us going....
In the meantime,
Sunny, you had me laughing my head off this morning with that image of you sitting there in your underwear, chocolate mouth etc!! I think it would have been hilarious if you had answered the door and invited them in.... they certainly would have needed oxygen by the time they got back down the speed they would have run away....!
Magel, how do they find us?? I live up a very steep hill in a very remote area and they made it up the hill to us too..... mind you, they were so out of breath they couldn't speak... almost felt sorry for them!
Can't remember what else we were on about as I can't see the last post anymore but lets continue here with the laughs and anyone new, feel free to join in.
Looking forward to hearing from you

Good Friday evening to all you warpies,
Hi and welcome to the madhouse Julia and hello Respect if you're peeping in, come and join us.
Bet you're there now LM so have a nice night by the sea. Big breckie in the morning yum yum. Oh and i'm loving the new avatar you do look relaxed in that pool.
Good that Ems and LM have such fun together and getting nearer to that cure yippee. I love the sound of your dress sense Ems, happy and colourful and hippyish yay.
Message recieved Odin eventually after 5 attempts grrr it's so frustrating when that hapens isn't it. I think some cyber naughty genie lives in the macland cyberspace to annoy us. Perhaps to give us a task or divert us from other thoughts 'cos that's what the mac genie thinks it should be doing tee hee.
Louise, I admit I like a drink hic. but not at 4.30 honestly i'm most offended! MWAW HAH HAAAAA Gotcha! Not and I repeat NOT offended really. Opened my bottle now 'cos it's Friday and 8.30ish so that's ok. Cheers everyone. Oh and yes, I think the rescue centre is the best idea as it was mine. But I agree that it should be for all animals domestic and wild 'cos I love all creatures.
Hi Hils, hope you've found something to entertain you but like Tom I also wondered if you had a games console 'cos the games are very addicitive and i've spent a day stuck in front of the telly in the past.
Right off to watch room 101 now and get the wine flowing, catch you all later.
Take care

Going to be quiet again for a few days. LM is stuffing herself with sausages and bacon in deepest Torquay, making sure she gets her week's meat quota in before disappearing to her Yut. It makes a change from having to stuff HER sausages in! Ems is enjoying a life with cake and coffee before nasty hospital people put her in solitary confinement. Tim is on a riverbank trying to catch his tea, Colin is listening to some Chopin, CDL is cuddling her niece, and Hils is on the alcopops!
Jan, I cannot tell a lie ...Last night my friend and her hubby came to our mansion (haha) to share some cheese, olives, nuts etc., but we needed some liquid to help them down. This morning there were 10 empty beer bottles (drunk by the men), 2 empty wine bottles and a sizeable amount of port had also disappeared (down to my friend and self!). My sister has noticed that since chemo I can drink more without it affecting me! What is worrying is that this social event was a planning meeting for our weekend away in Bishops Castle in a few weeks time. Think I will need a week to recover :-)
Letting my liver recover tonight, then off to friends tomorrow

It is likely to be quiet here for all of me, I'm too grumpy to be warped at the moment. And nobody loves a grumpy person, even if they have a crab in their tummy that's not going to go away.
I've just made some parkin, on the somewhat dodgy grounds that I don't like it much, so it doesn't matter if it turns out badly, and I won't feel so guilty about making something Judy can't, or at least shouldn't, eat. I made pizza last week and felt terrible about it.
xx
Parkin's lovely! You make it with oatmeal and black treace and butter and brown sugar and golden syrup and ginger and other nice things and it's sticky and sweet and so, so yummy!
Sorry you're feeling down Hilary, but as far as grumps go, I've lived with Mr. Morose for nearly 17 years & I still love him even though he's maddening. So don't put yourself down, grumpiness could be your most endearing quality!
Hove & lugs,

I can't keep up with you lot!!! I was going to answer all your stuff but can't remember any of it now so never mind...
Back home and bags packed for yurts and mud etc....
Welcome to warped Clare and anyone else who wandered over here that I can't remember... (I don't think there was, but you never know)
Just wanted to send you all a big hug and I will try and sneak on over the next week, but if I don't manage, take care and keep eachother smiling ok?
Hilary, you can just gloat that it is not you in a yurt and maybe that will put a smile on your face and everything crossed for ems if she goes in before I get home and hugs to the rest of you...
Stor stor kram and cwtches and hugs and love and everything...

Claire,
Parkin is what women can't do, boom boom! Duck, dive, run, hide.........Now there's more reason to grumpy!
Oh Guiness what have you done to me? Sorry ladies, I got invited to a hospitality do at a football match today, hic, and I thought Guiness would be a safe bet. Baggy is now in overdrive and so I'm going to have to have some cheese and biscuits and whatever else I can get my hands on. Louise, do you get the munchies when you drink? Oh my W has just opened a bottle of vino I bought her for Valentines day, and has poured me a glass. Better get the parec, paracet, paraceatam, ibruprofen tablets ready for the morning.
Have to get up at 7am tomorrow in time to get to local Wetherspoons for a nice cooked breakfast that will keep me going all day whilst fishing. Hmmmm, me thinks I may have to set two alarms.
Odin help, I'm being dragged off by the angry ladies on here, send reinforcements!
OK ladies, I know you can park really well, honest I do!
Tight lines
Tim xxx
errrrrrr ahem, Tim. ...... *stern look*
I just popped back in to say if you look at the entry below Tims (snigger) then all is not lost and ems, you don't need to have your sct after all and what are any of us worrying about eh?
cos Merlin has found a cure! Hoorah, GC hang up your stethoscope and go skiing...
Btw, don't click on the link, it might eat your computer or something....
Frankly, it leaves me speechless.... I think I should report it so it might have disappeared. If it has it is someone saying There is a cure for cancer 100% sure and true... click on this link...
Anyway, enough. Bye again
Little My
