I had a GP ordered fit test in May that was negative however I have recently done the screening one and that has come back positive. I do have piles and had a slight bleed the day before I did the test due to rough toilet paper. My rational head tells me that it was probably that and it affected to test but having had breast cancer 8 years ago I suffer from extreme anxiety around any testing . Just like to hear from others who had a positive fit then a clear colonoscopy as my mind is in overdrive. Thank in advance
I have been living with and treated for 3 cancers since 1999…… My last FIT tests was positive so I was fully checked out but this was put down to piles…… although I was eventually diagnosed with Prostate Cancer back in April so in a way I am glad that my last FIT was positive.
