Rectal cancer in remission

Oh definitely JackiePea . There is the well known expression scanxiety. I am also on 6 monthly surveillance for metastatic breast cancer that has been in remission for 2.5 years. I have just had my latest results, thankfully still clear. I always think it will get easier each time, as the logic says the risk of recurrence continues to reduce over time, but my brain doesn’t seem to work that way. I get a wave of anxiety when the appointment for the scam comes through, then some more when I actually go for it, then in the couple of days leading to the results appointment. I hope yours is also ok.
