Hello I was diagnosed with Mesothelioma in August 2025 I’ve had immunotherapy, major surgery where the lining of my lung and lymph nodes were removed. I then had radiotherapy. I’m waiting for scan.
Immunotherapy caused my thyroid to become underactive for which I now take Levothyroxine.
I sm losing lots and lots of hair. Been told that immunotherapy and radiotherapy wouldn’t cause this.
I never purchased many hair loss shampoos and serums but still coming out in handfalls every day.
any advise would be much appreciated.

I have lived with Asbestosis for over 14 years now but it’s behaving itself.
But I have lost all my hair a few times due to me being treated for 2 rare types of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphomas…….. but getting support from people who have walked or are walking the ‘exact same' journey can help a lot.
The Community is actually divided into dedicated Support Groups (Discussion Rooms) so can I recommend that you look to join and put up your own post in our dedicated…….

This group is a safe place to talk to others with a similar diagnosis, treatment experience, to ask questions and get support.
