Can I ask your advice?
My poor mum died two and a half years ago. After six months I was told that that the dwp were doing an audit of her benefits (according to my solicitor this is quite common now). As she only got 2 plus attendance allowance it can't be that hard
After all this time i still haven't had an outcome. My solicitor has advised that they have completed their investigations but there is no one to work on it further
Is it common for things to take so long these days?
I feel it can't start to move on until this is sorted out and as a result my own health has deteriorated quite severely due to the constant stress of it all
