Hi All just got the news yesterday & still in shock - I lost my mummy to breast 6 years after her first diagnosis when it returned again last year so all very raw - we had a scary experience with her she tried so hard ,I know I’m not as strong as her so the fear of this & trying to fight it my best to rear my 2 young wee kids I need some help . I haven’t been told the stage etc (await biopsy ) but i have been told chemo is certain is - can anyone give me tips to help / prepare for chemo & especially avoiding germs ( my eldest starts school & everyone has me frightened of how ill she will be :( I really don’t want to end up in hospital away from them . any tips how I prevent my kids from Being traumatised by this & also has anyone who has been diagnosed at this age lived a long life after any tips please help
