My husband was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He had a biopsy at the end of last week and a bone scan yesterday. Can anyone tell me what happens next and potential timelines? I know it will be a week or 2 before they have the results but what actually happens? Will he get a phone call and results over the phone or will they give him an appointment to go somewhere - GP or hospital?
Hi Ricegirl
I'm sorry to read that your husband was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and he's now waiting for the results of a biopsy and bone scan.
I can see that you've joined the prostate cancer group and this would be a great place to ask this question as you'll then connect directly with others who have the same type of cancer as your husband and who will be able to share their experiences with how they received their results.
Wishing you all the best
