A question on the number of days/weeks for which radiotherapy and chemotherapy are administered in the case of a brain tumour.
Hi all - I have been diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma brain tumour. Following surgery to remove much of it, I will shortly be undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy to slow it's inevitable re-growth. Does anyone know how long I should expect this treatment to take e.g. 3 weeks, 6 weeks etc? I have asked the specialist team (awaiting a reply) but am curious to see what other users of this site have found.
