Hello everyone . I’ve recently had a lumpectomy and am due to gave radiotherapy in the next couple of weeks . I’m quite ok about this part but I’m absolutely terrified of take letzarol . I’m 78 and the thought of the side effects is making me really worry . Has anyone because they are older refused ?
Hi Hat and welcome to the Macmillan community.
I haven’t had the same cancer but I can understand it can be overwhelming thinking about further treatment.
I can see that you’ve already joined our breast cancer group, and that group would be the best place to speak with others who can give their experiences of Letrazole.
It’s much busier in the breast group than this general chat group, so just pop over there to make your post and I’m sure some of the lovely ladies will be able to help you.
I hope your radiotherapy will go smoothly for you-many of the members in the breast group will be able to let you know about that too.
Sarah xx
