Hi everyone,
new to here.
i have just started Chemo due to grade 3, HER2+ breast cancer.
i am really struggling with nausea and sickness due to the chemo.
They have gave me anti sickness but nothing seems to be helping.
Has anyone any ideas of anything that could ease these symptoms. Chemo is a hard thing to go through and yes i am struggling but have to keep going. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
Hi Lourob and welcome to the Macmillan Community.
I think you might benefit from putting your post in the breast cancer group, which I see you have already joined. That way you will be able to connect with others with the same type of cancer who might have gone through something similar.
I had a different type of cancer, and had chemo, but when I didn’t get on with anti nausea tablets, my consultant changed me to another type which was much better. Have you asked if there is an alternative type you could try to see if it helps?
I hope some of the members of the breast cancer group will be able to share their experiences and that you can be prescribed something which helps to make the treatment easier for you.
Sarah xx
