I have been on the page for about 3 weeks i think and I'm still trying to work out how to do it i just went to right something on a reply and it was from 13 months ago have i read that right

The posts are organised so that the one with the most recent activity appears at the top of the page. That might be a brand new post, or an older post that someone has recently replied to. Some posts receive regular updates even though they might be quite old. Sometimes people respond to something that’s relevant for them without realising they are replying to an old post, sometimes written by someone who is no longer active on the site. The forums vary in how busy they are - the forums for the most common cancers are the busiest.
