Hi
ILC grade 2 multi focal (clinically node negative)
ER8,PR7,KI67 25% HER2 1+ (found on mammogram and ultrasound)
ER8,PR8,KI67 13% HER2 2+(only discovered on breast MRI and biopsied through MRI)
Both tumors totalling 42mm.
This info is from biopsies.
Surgery was 25/3- good margins achieved, one sentinel node removed.
Tissue sent for Oncotype test on 21/4.
No other printed results received as yet.
Anyone out there gone on to have full node clearance after receiving a result of one positive node?(macrometastes)
Was this the recommendation of your healthcare team or your decision?
How was recovery from this?
Ive seen such a lot of differing treatment, that its beyond confusing and difficult! I know its individual and depends on lots of different factors.
The HER2 2+ result from the second tumor also bothers me, as theres been no discussion re this as yet! I am going to ask if the FISH test has been done for clarity.
I so appreciate any advice from others in this situation or who may have experienced this. Advice on forums has been invaluable!
Hi Karlou and welcome to the chat group.
I see that you are already a member of the breast cancer group, so I’d like to suggest that you make this same post in that group to widen the audience who will see it. I’m sorry I don’t have the relevant knowledge to help you as I had a different type of cancer.
The breast cancer group is a very active group, and you are most likely to connect there with others who will have experience of your cancer and be able to share their treatment experiences. Most people will use the specific cancer support forums to ask and answer questions rather than this general chat group, so I’m sure you’ll find more support there.

Hi Karlou I had ER and PR 8 positive and HER 2 negative. Lobular breast cancer 4cm. I had one node positive. I had 3 nodes removed. Had lumpectomy, chemo and radiotherapy. Did not do full node removal. If you put this on the breast cancer forum you might get more replies. What is your treatment plan or have you not received it yet?

Hi!
Did you have an oncotype test done? Did this determine chemotherapy?
The radioactive dye just highlighted the one sentinel node, so its hard for me to know if others are positive! Had more than one been taken and just one positive, I feel it would have been easier for me going forward.
Thanks! Ive also posted on the breast cancer group
I appreciate your reply!
