My immune system is very weak due to treatment. (Chemotherapy and radiotherapy) i injured my self I pulled both my quadriceps (thigh muscles) and have been in pain ever since i injured my self in 2023. It’s painful to walk painful to turn over in bed. I struggle to get dressed due to pain I also struggle to get in the bath as it’s extremely painful and difficult to get my leg over to get in the tub and the shower is over the bath so it’s as much struggle as the bath. I’ve experienced extreme exhaustion since treatment and regardless of how many hours I sleep my battery life is about 1-3 hours before I need to nap. Anyway my oncologist has referred me to an endocrinologist as radiotherapy can effect hormones and they can do tests to determine if hormones have changed and hopefully can treat it. Has anybody else been referred or affected with issues after treatment?
