PTPS I was shocked when told I had post thoracic pain syndrome I've never been made aware of it. it's a painful and at times brutal condition that can take up to a year to improve to manageable levels and up to 2 years to have less awareness and pain. I'm at five months post op and my recovery is very slow with regular flares and spasms and ongoing guarding. I've yet to hear from anyone on these communities that has been diagnosed with the same condition so would love to hear from you if you're out there. TIA
Hello Newsgirlcb46b3,
I've heard of it and had surgery to remove a lung but fortunately didn't have a problem with it.
I see you're a member of the lung forum and a post on there might bring someone forward who's familiar with it?
Derek.
