Hello. I'm not techie and I'm struggling to use this site.
My wife has breast cancer, secondary is liver cancer. Stage 4. Have I said that right?
I'm really struggling. I can cope with the physical side of things but she keeps getting so nasty, irritable and awful with me.
I totally understand why she is like she is but it's making a vile situation worse.
How do I find a group of people I can talk to? Surely I can't be the only person in this situation.
Please can anyone help!
Simon.
Hello Simon,
A very warm welcome to Macmillan online community, although I'm very sorry you have the need to join.
I'm sure that your wife doesn't really mean to be like that with you, but finds it very difficult to deal with her own situation just now. I'd like to suggest that you join the family and friends forum and repost your comment there where you can connect with others in a similar situation to discuss and get support from. I've inserted a link below to use.
Alternatively, If you find yourself in need more one-to-one support you can contact the Macmillan Cancer Support Advisors and Nurses on the Macmillan Support Line who can offer practical and emotional support. They’re available 7 days a week, 8am-8pm on freephone 0808 808 00 00, email or live webchat.
