I wonder if anyone has any experience with incense smells.

I go and help my partner with a dance class. It's held in a hall were they do yoga, pilates etc it's a spiritual centre so they often burn incense sticks, smudge sticks etc.

When we arrive it smells very strong maybe the previous class used them.

They leave the ash from the sticks in the holders and the open box too.

Does anyone know if this will cause any harm. It does make me cough for a bit when I first enter the building should I stay away ?

  • It might be a good idea to see if they can ventilate the area better. I use a calming spa scent melt at home, which helps me manage lingering odors. It’s great at getting rid of smells without covering them up. This way, you could avoid the incense scent sticking around too much. Always worth asking for a change in airflow, too!
