I had a lump removed from my shoulder 2nd January and feeling anxious about it .unfortunately 4 of 6 of immediate family have had cancer diagnosis .3 of those terminal .tried calling the hospital about getting results but getting no where .
I now have had an infection with a persistent cough not going away
Hello Nightowl69
I have just read your post and am so sorry to hear about your situation.
* Have you spoken to your GP and asked if they have any news?
* If you can't contact the department who did the original biopsy - contact the hospital PALS office (Patient Advice and Liaison service), give them the details and let them know you are still in the dark. They should be able to find out what's going on.
* You need to speak to your GP about your infection and cough.
I hope the above helps.
Best wishes - Brian.
