Initial diagnosis TN breast cancer Sept 2021. Then 2024 diagnosed with incurable metastatic TN breast cancer & underwent palliative chemotherapy. I have surveillance scans every 3 months. Fast forwad to now, found a new lump in groin lymph nodes. Oncologist referred me for ultrasound to check lump. Ultrasound showed enlarged suspicious lymph node so had 3 biopsy’s taken. I had a telephone appo
ntment booked in with my Oncologist for 6th Feb for a “check in” appointment. He rung me yesterday to say he’s seen my ultrasound report & wanted to book me on for a face to face appointment instead
of telephone appointment. Also said my biopsy results will be back before my appointment. Has something bad been reported on my ultrasound that warrants a face to face instead of a telephone appoint
ent? I just keep thinking that the cancer has spread & he wants to give me the news face to face instead of over the phone. My thoughts are in over drive just now & I’m really struggling with it all
