Can anyone help with any advice to side effects from oxmoplatin chemo . Tingling in hands and feet.
Hi Linzee
I'm sorry to read that you're experiencing tingling in your hands and feet as a side effect of oxmoplatin.
I've had chemotherapy, but not this one, so looked up the side effects on the Macmillan website. You can read about them here. It does mention that numb or tingling hands or feet is a very common side effect but should be reported to your doctor in case the dose needs to be lowered.
To talk to others who may have experienced the same as you it would be a good idea to join and post in the group for the type of cancer that you have. Oxmoplatin is used to treat quite a few different cancers so, as I don't know what type of cancer you have, I can't give you a direct link to the right group. You could either let me know or look through this list to choose the right group.
