Second chemo on Monday and ive had some heartburn, mostly in the night, same thing happened last week. Doesn't stay for the whole week but its a pain. Going to mention it tomorrow in hospital and hopefully get something for it. Ive watched what I eat to try and help but still there. Went to bed at 9 slept for three hours and awake since then, mopped the downstairs floors. Watched first dates haha The storm looks like its descended on Liverpool, very windy and rainy. So going to try and get a few hours sleep. Hope everyone is well xxxxx
Hi Beekeeper527494c ……. Oh heartburn can be challenging and tiring.
Do talk this through with your team but for what it’s worth …… I had a lot of heartburn and reflux during my main 2 years treatment…. but still get it when I have to take antibiotics.
I found Peptac to help a lot but at night I will sleep with a V shaped pillow that raises my oesophagus slightly higher than my stomach…… or stick a few lumps of wood under the legs of your bed to raise the top of the bed higher.
Thanks Mike, I will certainly give the suggestions a try.
