Evening,
I’m due in hospital tomorrow for a 10 hour surgery to relive a large scar post salivary gland cancer removal. The scar just carried on growing and I’m in pain all the time and can’t chew food properly. Thing is, I went and got a cough and cold which has largely cleared minus a tickly cough and I think I’m too frightened to do it. Seriously considering a life in pain over the surgery. I don’t think I have the courage to go through with it. I’ve read about so many brave people on her going through so much. I’m not brave enough. Has anyone experienced a long surgery? 10 plus hours?
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
