Hi
If I was to ask to be put to sleep when having my portal fitted next Friday 2nd January do you think they will respect my wishes
Hi Apple
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and although I had chemotherapy for breast cancer, mine was delivered through a canula.
If you don't get any replies here it might be an idea to post this question in the breast cancer group, where I can see you've posted before, as I'm sure you'll find people there who've had a port fitted.
While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Hi Jennu
i am one of the Community Champions on our breast cancer forums. I noticed you have been newly diagnosed. You have posted on an old thread. I can see you have already joined our breast cancer forums. Come and chat to us on there. It is hard not to catastrophise, isn’t it.
