First three weeks of Capecitabine went pretty well but now finding im getting a bit breathlessness when out walking ans reflux is affecting my appetite. Trouble is there are so many potential side effects you dont know if its the chemo or something else!
I'm sorry to read that you're feeling breathless and suffering with reflux after having capecitabine. I haven't had that drug, so don't know if these side effects are to be expected or whether they're ones that your chemo 24 hotline needs to know about.
I can see that you've previously posted in the bowel cancer group and that would be a good place to post this question as you'll then connect directly with others who are on capecitabine. In the meantime you might want to contact your hospital's 24 hour chemo hotline to make sure that the side effects are not something they need to know about.
