I was diagnosed with Medullary Thyroid Cancer with RET on August 16, 2025.
I just started taking trial drug Selpercatinib as the tumor in my neck is very large and has displaced my trachea.
Also MTC has metastasized into my lymph nodes. Treating Oncologist says selpercatinib may shrink my tumor
and hold in check the RET mutation. I decided to take the trial drug instead of surgery right away in the hopes
that the tumor may shrink and make the surgery more manageable.
Any thoughts?
