Next week I will have my 9 cycle of chemo, the last 3 week I have been unable to do anthing just no energy. How do you manage to get through the days?
Hi Boosie
I'm sorry to read how chemotherapy is affecting you. Everyone reacts differently and I count myself lucky that I didn't suffer with fatigue(link). If you click on this link it'll take you to Macmillan information about cancer related fatigue and how to cope with it.
As different chemotherapy treatments are used for different cancers I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also join and post in the group for your type of cancer as that will give you the chance to connect directly with people who have had the same chemo as you.
You haven't said what type of cancer you're being treated for, so I can't give you a direct link to the group, but if you look through this list you can choose the right one.
Once you've joined, you can start a new post in the same way as you did here, and join in with existing conversations by clicking on reply.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
