I'm at my lowest low and just don't know where to turn. Here's my story.
I've always suffered with depression and anxiety, which got so bad after covid and working for the NHS, ended up giving up work last year.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March, lumpectomy and lymph node removal in April. The cancer was upgraded from grade 2 at biopsy to grade 3 after op lab tests.
So in the mean time, whilst waiting for my after op results to come back, my 27 year old daughter, who also suffers with her mental health, tried to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge, she ended up in a psychiatric hospital.
This week I've had my oncology appt and just need radiotherapy and no chemo, thank goodness!
When I got home from my appt, my partner of 10 years, told me, totally out of the blue, that he doesn't love me and wants to break up and now has totally blanked me, will not talk to me, just says he's made his decision.
I'm totally devastated, it has completely knocked me off my feet and just feel that I can't go on.
I'm 54 years old and have absolutely nothing. I have totally depended on him for absolutely everything.
I just can't face having to start over again, I don't have any energy left!

Hi HayleyJw welcome to the forum which I'm sure that you had no wish to join.. There is a specific thread for Breast Cancer which may help you to join. I don't know what to say except I hear you, Im listening and we are all here if you need to chat..I could fill the post with a lot of chat but I suspect that's not exactly going to make a huge difference just now.. I would strongly encourage you to pick up the phone and speak to someone at the Macmillan Line who are good listeners and could offer local sources of support for you. 08088080000.
