No idea why I've gone into a permanant state of anxiety, as its my husband who as cancer not me.

I'm literally panicking over the slightest thing. He had hus first immunotherapy so far all seems ok, just a but tired. Zometa delayed due to dental work.

But the last week his lower back & left leg have become more painful. So I rung to see if Zometa can be started earlier ( 16th May) nurse as said if bloods ok start it 1st May. But docs requested an MRI of spine on 29th. So my minds gone into overdrive.

Hes now doubting his confidence in going overseas, due to his back/leg & it doesnt help he had a stroke in 2018 which left a right side weakness, so hes mote reliant on his left leg due to this. Its the left leg which is causing him problems. So he feels trapped. He goes out in morn to shop comes home & thats it. Hes worried in case he falls.

Will this Zometa help as & when it starts!

He as no other symptoms still apart from worry & obvs bored as cant plan anything & I just feel anxious & on edge 24/7.

Sorry for the ramble.....

  • Hi

It's perfectly natural to worry about your husband's symptoms so there's no need to apologise.

I hope you don't mind me suggesting though that you also post this is the lung cancer group, where I can see you've posted before, as you'll then connect directly with others who are having the same treatment and may have the same symptoms as your husband.

When you feel up to it, it would be great if you could put something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
