Hello all. I've finally finished chemotherapy and radiotherapy after having my breast tumour and lymph nodes removed. I am currently on tablets and injections to stop my hormones and targeted drugs 2 a day. I am in so much pain with my joints some days I am crawling up my stairs and struggle with picking things up and now started to drop things. Anyone know if this gets any better? Yvette
Hi Vee
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2022 but fortunately didn't suffer from the pain which you're experiencing.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post this in the breast cancer group, which I can see you've posted in before, as you'll then connect directly with others who have had the same treatment as you for breast cancer.
I hope your hospital team are able to sort out pain medication for you soon.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
