Hi all
I had my second round of EC-T last Tuesday, felt ok until the weekend but since then am wiped out!
I hope and pray that it doesn’t get harder each time. I have one more lot of EC ( the Red Devil ), then I go on to three rounds of the T part. Does anybody know what the side effects are like on that and moving forward? I know everyone is different.
This is all preventative as cancer tumour was removed and lymph nodes were clear, but I had HER2 positive breast cancer. I then start Herceptin and have Radiotherapy which don’t know lots about - trying not to keep reading too much!
Any knowledge or advice greatly appreciated xxx
Hi Sparkly64
I’m sorry that EC is wiping you out. I had 3 cycles of it as preventative treatment and found that I felt under the weather for about the first 10 days and then felt fine for the remaining 11 days before I had the next infusion.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you also post this in the breast cancer group, which I can see you've joined, as you'll then connect directly with others who might be having ECT.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
