My husband has recently had a bowel resection to have a tumour removed and is due to start chemo. soon. The oncologist asked if he had had covid vaccinations and then asked me too. I'd like to understand why my vaccination status is relevant to my husband's treatment - and of course I didn't think to ask at the time! Does anyone know? Thanks in advance for your help :-)
Hi AnnaLu
Your husband is very susceptible to infections while he's having chemo, so if you haven't had your covid vaccinations and catch covid, you could possibly pass it on to him.
