Hi everyone! My name is Synthia, and I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 blood cancer. I’ve recently started an Instagram page to share my cancer journey as I get used to this new life. I would love to connect with more people who are going through the same thing, even if it’s a different diagnosis as I know this journey can be isolating and daunting. It’s so important to surround yourself with people during this time and get all the support you can, and I would love to be a part of other people’s cancer experience and help in anyway I can.
Hi synthia and welcome to the community…… you will see that the Macmillan Community Site Team have removed your instagram information…… links to sites like Instagram are not allowed as they breach the site rules with regards to community members anonymity.
I was diagnosed at 44 back in 1999 with my very rare incurable type of blood cancer (CTCL) eventually reaching stage 4 in late 2013 but I am still here living a great life.
If you tell me the exact type of blood cancer you have I can direct you to one of our dedicated support groups.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
