Hi all, I was given a prognosis of 12-18 months with glioblastoma in September this year, I have had radiotherapy and chemotherapy and going back in the new year, for me I could be hit by a bus and so can anyone and so on, but it's the people like my wife n family where I hurt, the timeline can change at any point and is excepted by myself I will live the best I can and everyone should (no rules) everyday is a blessing so grab it and enjoy it!!
Hi Lec walking the incurable cancer journey is a mystery as you can be given timeframes but at times these figures can be so off and the prognosis allows that big massive sword of doom to swinging over your head.
Then you have to balance your family and how they are navigating this journey.
I was looking through the groups you have joined and notices you have not joined our dedicated Living with incurable cancer - incurable patients only support group. This is a safe place to talk with others who are navigating the same journey.
(Please join the group but for everyones safety this will then have to be approved by the Macmillan Community Team so will not happen immediately)
All the very best.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
