New here and not to sure where else to go or dairy if I waffle on
my mum was diagnosed in February with 3c1 cervical cancer and had gone to a lymph node near by she went through 5 weeks radiotherapy everyday chemo once a week and then 3 sessions of brachytherapy she done absolutely amazing September came she still had what she/we thought where side affects from the treatment she had had
saw the doctor was told all clear there was not sign of cancer on her latest pet-ct but booked in with some one to have a look at what Was irritating her
Then we got the news that there was in fact another cancer
another pet-ct scan then confirmed this with her dr it was definitely a secondary cancer and that she is terminal she has chosen to have palliative chemo with the addition of having immunotherapy aswell
she went for her first chemotherapy session and it lasted 10-15 minutes and she started to go into cardiac arrest she’s fine now and home and just wants to sleep
sorry I’ve waffled on quite abit I’m just feeling lost at the moment trying to support my dad mum brothers with it all
will they offer different chemotherapy I’m guessing we just have to wait for her dr to get in contact and go from there
thanks for reading
