I need someone to talk me , I’m feeling scared
Hello Joyce51
Welcome to MacMillan Cancer Support.
You will find the Online community is divided into various forums or chatrooms and we have a specific one for Prostate Cancer. If you click on this link Prostate cancer forum it will take you there. Once you are on the forum, just click on the black banner at the bottom of the page where it says join and you will be able to introduce yourself in the "New Here" forum. You will receive plenty of help and support - I can assure you of that.
I am a member of the Prostate Cancer forum and have been undergoing treatment for the past 21 months - let me say at the outset - it is one of the most treatable cancers and 98% of men with a diagnosis of PCa die with it rather than from it.
When you put your post up about your son if you can add some further information - his diagnosis if he's had a biopsy yet or what stage he's at we can help you even more - try not to feel too scared - we are all here for you.
If it helps you can read my personal Prostate journey by clicking on the icon of the beach next to my name.
If you have any issues with the above in navigating the site, please get back to me. I look forward to seeing you again along with the other members of the Prostate Cancer forum.
Best wishes - Brian.
