As it will probably depend on the type of chemotherapy you've had, can I suggest that you also post this question in the bladder cancer group which I can see you've posted in before.
When I finished chemotherapy for breast cancer my oncologist told me that my immune system should be able to cope with mild things like colds, etc. after about a month but that it would take up to 6 months to get it back to where it was pre chemo for everything else.
