iI have pancreatic cancer stage 3 locally advanced, inoperable. Finished almost a year of chemotherapy an radiotherapy. Feeling really well at the moment except for peripheral neuropathy.
This gets me down. Struggle to walk far, can't find comfortable footwear. Bedtime is a nightmare because restless legs and constant tingling in toes and fingers.
I have been told it could get better in time or permanent.
Next to the cancer this seems trivial. Just seems like another thing to deal with.
Also diabetes.
Hi, sorry to hear this is getting you down. I suffer fro. PN as well and mine is permanent. I too suffer badly with the soles off my feet and hands. I went to my GP and she gave me neopathic pain killers. Well I was actually already on them for another nerve problem not related to cancer. She uped the dosage and it really helps. Enough to let me walk my dogs everyday.
Perhaps give your gp a ring, see what they say.
Take care and stay safe.
