Waiting for results takes too long - 4 weeks since scan to find out if cancer gone or has spread. The not knowing is enough to make you unwell with worry and stress. Causes anxiety and relationship issues. It is too long. If only you were told it would take weeks, months, then you wouldn't keep waiting for the call, the letter, the appointment. Sorry to rant but it literally is just tipping us over the edge.
Hi JoeyB I think we can all agree with your post.
Hi Frazzled
I have been following your posts - I hang about on the Prostate Cancer forum but sometimes have a wander around other fotums.
So sorry to hear of your issues - any cancer is an issue and it plays on your mind all the time. Lung Cancer, Prostate cancer any cancer, the main issue is waiting for the diagnosis and then waiting for a treatment plan and then waiting for treatment.
You are in the right place though - if you keep posting on the Lung Cancer forum I am sure you will find plenty of support - it's a worrying time waiting for results but we are all here for you.
Just keep in touch with everyone - keep posting and let's hope your results turn up soon and with that a diagnosis and treatment plan - and you will be able to get on with your life.
Kind regards
Brian.
