I am currently in remission from hodgkins lymphoma. But what I have found I am struggling more than ever. So I have come here to ask does anyone know of a support group in the medway kent area. If not would anyone like to be part of a virtual one.

Hi Brad Brdlnxand a warm welcome to this corner of the Community although I am always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various groups.
I don’t have Hodgkin's Lymphoma but I was diagnosed way back in 1999 at 43 with a rare, incurable but treatable type of Low-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma eventually reaching Stage 4a in late 2013 so although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I do appreciate the challenges of this journey rather well.
I see that you have found our Hodgkin lymphoma support group.....lots of folks to talk with there.
You may want to check out the Lymphoma Action website. Lymphoma Action is the only UK Lymphoma Specific Charity who have lots of good reliable information, videos..... basically all things Lymphoma....... pre, during and post treatment.
They run regular Support Platforms..... I highly recommend these groups as there is nothing better than talking with other who have walked the journey...... and there is not pont reinventing the wheel when there is some great support areas out there with the backing of Lymphoma Action.
They also have a great Lymphoma Action Buddy Service where people can be linked up with someone who has walked the same treatment journey.
They also have a Lymphoma helpline on 0808 808 5555 where you can talk with someone and get support - open every week day from 10 till 3.
Talking to people face to face can be very helpful so do check to see if you have any Local Macmillan Support in your area, do also check for a local Maggie's Centre as these folks are amazing and also run a Hematology Group..
