hi all
I was diagnosed with laryngeal cancer 6 weeks ago and start radiotherapy next week.
Aside from the usual pain and general lethargy I have felt well.
Today I have woken up and feel ill, is it normal to feel ill with cancer 6 weeks ago it was just another word, but it is so difficult to realise that you have a horrible disease particularly as stated I have always felt reasonably well.
cheers Terry
Hello terry1955
I am sorry to hear about your cancer diagnosis and wish you well with your radiotherapy treatments that are starting next week.
As you have so far felt well and today have woken up poorly maybe it would be a good idea to contact your GP and get checked out? It is probably nothing to be concerned about but I am just thinking that you need to be well for your treatments starting next week and it may be you have picked up a bug or something or even the hot weather? Your GP will hopefully be able to give you some reassurance.
Hope you are feeling better soon
Jane
